Nokia N900 is the smartphone launched by Nokia and is a member of the n series of Nokia. In Nokia N900 they changed the OS from typical symbian platform to Linux’s Maemo 5. It is the first Nokia device on Texas Instruments OMAP3 microprocessor with the ARM Cortex-A8 core. Maemo 5 supports Adobe Flash Player 9.4, and includes many applications designed specifically for the mobile platform such as a new touch-friendly media player. It has a resistive touchscreen.
The Nokia N900 has a TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, 3.5 inches (~267 ppi pixel density) supporting 16M colors. It has an internal memory of 32 GB storage, 256 MB RAM which can be expanded upto 16 gb. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, DLNA and Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP. The phone has 5MP camera with 2576×1936 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Dual LED flash and provides video recording of WVGA(848 x 480)@25fps. The battery of the phone supports a talk time of 4hrs 30 mins and a stand-by time of 250 mins.
